Our History

IRS, Inc. (dba IRS Med Staff), Care With Confidence's parent company, is a leading medical staffing company, and has been serving the United States since our inception in 1986.  We started with just one specialty, Respiratory Therapy.  Why did we start in respiratory care?  Once again, often life experiences lead us to our calling.  Mark's grandfather suffered a stroke in 1971.  As a result, he required being placed on a ventilator.  Once the ventilator was removed, he acquired pneumonia and required ongoing care through respiratory therapists.  In witnessing this process, Mark developed a passion for this field.  After Mark graduated from the Indiana University Respiratory Therapy Program through the IU School of Medicine and after graduating ASU, while working at a hospital as a therapist, he often witnessed the shortcomings of the agencies they were using.  With an entrepreneurial background honed from a family business, it was natural that he capture the desire to 'turn the industry around' and was a leader in Arizona becoming a licensed State, as well as creating standards and “industry 1st's" that have now been incorporated into virtually every agency's operating procedures throughout the country.

With over 100 dedicated employees who are tops in their profession, IRS is the company selected by more hospitals and homes when quality medical professionals are needed!  IRS Med Staff offers staffing solutions for hospitals and health care companies, as well as care for private individuals and families who are in need of medical care in the home.

Our History

IRS, Inc. has branched into many other divisions.  Care With Confidence was the first non-medical area formally added in 2009.  Cleaning With Confidence was added in 2012 due to the needs of our Caregiving families.  What we were finding is that who need a little help with personal care and assistance, are also in need of additional help with their home to fully enjoy aging in place, worry free.  Being in the home on a frequent basis lent itself to our wonderful and observant PCAs determining that hygiene goes beyond bathing and washing.  It is hard to manage wellness when a home might become a breeding ground for pathogens. In addition, some of our families might have someone with a fall risk, yet there might also be tripping hazards in the home, such as carpet needing stretching and plumbing leaks puddling water in walking paths.  Often there can be electrical outlets shorting, causing another medical risk.  So, Handyman was borne out of the need to offer the complete solution, and we became licensed contractors to help our clients in these area.
